Active travel: The National Cycle Network

As custodians of the National Cycle Network in Scotland, Sustrans Scotland have teamed up with Alloa to showcase the benefits of active travel in a new video.

Identifiable by its iconic blue and red signage, the National Cycle Network is the backbone of Scotland’s active travel network, connecting communities across a series of routes used regularly for nipping to the shops, walking the dog, getting to school and more.

Walking, wheeling and cycling for more our everyday journeys not only improves our health and protects the environment, but also helps support local economies.
