September’s CPG brings to Scottish Parliament, ongoing lively discussions within the Scotland’s Towns community around creating inclusive and accessible towns and places.
Following on from a recent STP learning event on the subject, we are pleased to open this up for wider discussion with MSPs and CPG organisation and individual members. Insights and examples from Irene Beautyman of the Improvement Service and Public Health Scotland, and Chiquita Elvin of Sustrans, combined with audience discussions, will provoke discussion around, why should we invest in accessibility? What makes a place accessible? Is it good for business? What are the benefits, challenges and solutions around pedestrianisation?
Join us to discuss creating towns and places that are inclusive, accessible, and economically vibrant, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
