Join Scotland’s Towns Partnership on Tuesday 12th September as we host our Towns Tea Party and Annual General Meeting (for the first time in-person since 2019). This is an opportunity for stakeholders from across sectors to meet and hear about the latest developments and opportunities for towns and places in Scotland.

Following a welcome and AGM business with Scotland’s Towns Partnership Chair, Professor Leigh Sparks, Deputy Principal and Professor of Retail Studies at the Institute for Retail Studies, University of Stirling, Interim Chief Officer, Kimberley Guthrie will give an update on progress and future plans from Scotland’s Towns Partnership

We are delighted to welcome Angus MacDonald, speaking on the Highland Cinema, an object lesson on identifying local needs and delivering outcomes that change communities for the better. Hear how the beautiful Highland Cinema delivers positive community impact, much needed rural employment and plays its part in the positive enhancement of its local area.

Angus MacDonald, Spears UK Entrepreneur of the Year 2017, is the founder and finder of the Highland Cinema, a community development project that opened in the autumn of 2020.
