Historic Environment Scotland’s Heritage and Place Programme (H&PP) is now open for Expressions of Interest to be submitted by 17 January 2025.
The Heritage and Place Programme is an area-based funding programme that aims to contribute to the development of vibrant and sustainable places in Scotland, through community-led regeneration of the historic environment. It supports the development and delivery of heritage focused schemes within conservation areas, or alternatively distinctive heritage areas with local authority recognition.
Applications can be accepted from local authorities, national park authorities and suitably experienced not-for-profit organisations based in Scotland.
An online information session to provide further information, in collaboration with the National Lottery Heritage Fund (HF), is on Thursday 28 November 2024, from 11am to 12.15pm. This session will provide attendees with an overview of the area- based funding available from both HES and HF. It will cover topics including the application processes and timeframes, eligibility criteria, funding priorities and examples of eligible projects and activities. It will also look at what information would be expected in an EOI and at development phase application stage if an EOI is successful. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A’s at the end of the presentations.
If you are interested in attending this session then please contact grants@hes.scot and provide your contact name, job title, organisation and email address.
