‘Is your business committed to excellence?’

Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce that The Business Excellence Awards 2024 are now open for applications.

This prestigious accolade recognises and rewards those small and medium enterprises based in Ayrshire who are committed to excellence and following a path of continuous improvement.

The award is free to enter and open to any company with less than 250 employees in manufacturing, social enterprise, or the service industry. The winners will be announced at the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner at Lochside House Hotel on the 23rd of February 2024.

Lisa Stewart, Project Executive, Business Excellence Ayrshire, explained:

“The Business Excellence Award is not only a prestigious award, but also a hugely beneficial process for your business. The unique application process requires you to evaluate your own business and performance.

There are many businesses excelling in the fundamentals of excellence without realising it. Examples of these include adding value to customers, leading with vision, inspiration, and integrity, creating sustainable futures, or succeeding through the talent of people.

The fundamental concepts of excellence can be recognised in top performing organisations be they large or small, for profit or not for profit.

So, if your business is following a path of continuous improvement or quality programmes, why not enter?”

Previous winners of Business Excellence have included; The Cook School Scotland, Begg & Co, Woodward Aircraft Engine Systems (Prestwick), Browning the Bakers, South Beach Holdings (Scotland) Ltd, William Tracey Group, Hugh King & Co, Ashleigh (Scotland) Ltd, ANCHO Ltd and most recent winners Opus Couture, LMA Architects, Lochside House Hotel and Spa and Urquhart Opticians.
