Scotland Loves Local Week

We were delighted to champion the first ever Scotland Loves Local Week which ran from  the 28th August to 3rd September.

Local Government Minister Joe FitzPatrick and Community Wealth Minister Tom Arthur visited Linlithgow on Monday 28th August to officially launch Scotland Loves Local Week, a celebration of the dedication and determination which is strengthening communities and economies across the country.

The special week championed the Scotland Loves Local message, putting localism at the heart of a stronger, fairer future for Scotland’s towns.

About the Scotland Loves Local Campaign

Scotland Loves Local Campaign is the campaign putting localism at the heart of a stronger, greener, fairer Scotland. It is a galvanising force for good, bringing the businesses, community organisations, politicians and the public to collaboratively create better places in which to live, work and visit. The foundations of true economic and environmental sustainability lie in our local communities. By encouraging people to Choose Local, Scotland Loves Local represents the beating heart of positive change – responding to the cost of living crisis, the climate emergency, long-term coronavirus recovery and building a better future.
